I Was Born In The 90's

Wearing:
Thrifted 90's denim jumper dress, plaid shirt worn underneath from Forever 21, black tights H&M, black leather up boots by Jeffrey Campbell, military jacket thrifted, all necklaces thrifted, handmade reconstructed earrings made by me, my own handmade brass with pin bracelet.

Hi Loves!

I feel like these images show a real quirky side of my personality. I'm a 90's baby and was born in the very beginning of the "like, totally cool" 1990's. Growing up in that decade was such a good time; there was so much awesome influence that came from the 90's, like pop, grunge, and the advent of mainstream rap music. And who could forget the fashion trends that came along with it? As I type this but I'm taken back to the 90's hits I grew up with  from Nirvana, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, TLC, and Radiohead (just to name a few). I still get a bit nostalgic every now and then remembering dancing around in my bedroom making up my own choreography to the hits that played on the radio. I get a real kick out of mixing different eras together and pairing clothing items that reflect how my feelings. One motto I've always lived by is "If you look good, you feel good" and I fully stand by this. That said, I had a really fun time putting this outfit together.

Vintage Prep

Hi Loves!

I recently wore this winter look to work and I couldn't help but feel so put together in this getup. It felt very preppy school girlish and took me back to the 60's. I'm a sucker for a good plaid especially in these months, just add a bit of layers and you're set for San Francisco's unpredictable weather.

If you like what you see I would appreciate it if you could hop on over to my Lookbook account and hype my outfit pic. Plus there's ton more looks I have uploaded on there as well, so check it out folks!

Playing Tourist For A Day

Hi Loves!

This past Monday I played tourist for a day and hung out with a group of friends that were visiting me from my home town, San Diego. We trekked all over the 7x7, starting at my place in the Richmond district, then Lands End, adventures through Golden Gate Park, we went to Alamo Square to see the Painted ladies and winded up in the Mission district for dinner and drinks. We ended the night in Union Square sipping one last drink at my favorite bar saloon, Tradition. It was a great time running around the city all day, but now I'm paying for it. I'm currently sick in bed as I type this. I played to hard, oops. I think it was worth it though ; )
That's a wrap!

She's An Eclectic Chick

Hi Loves!

Now there's a tongue twister of a tittle for you. Just humor me a little, have some fun let your hippie side emerge. These images speak to me with an "I don't care, I'm too cool for you attitude," and I love it! There's something to say about the bohemian type of woman, she's sharp and slick impeccably unique.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! : )
