Looking to Art for Inspiration

Hi Loves!

Color, layers and complexity are the key elements in art that
I'm constantly on the lookout for inspiration images that move me. This group of images feels like summer with the bright colors and abrupt movement within them. I love layered artwork, especially collages, for some reason it just speaks to me. I feel like looking at this kind of art gives a glimpse into the artist's mind and tells a story of what they were thinking and feeling at the time. Needless to say I'm excited for the warmer days ahead and will be looking at art to inspire me for my daily (#ootd) Outfits Of the Day looks.

Sibling Style

He's wearing: A thrifted long sleeve shirt with pants and sneakers from Buffalo Exchange
She's wearing: Forever 21 crop top, thrifted vintage skirt, vintage shoes and handmade necklaces

Hi Loves!

Meet my brother Trevor Jones,
he's a tall and lanky talented fellow whom I love. Last week I spent my days running around the sunny and beautiful city of San Diego. One adventure, I went for a drive with my brother to get some sibling bonding time in.
We ended up in Hillcrest (my favorite area to shop in San Diego) where we stopped in at Buffalo Exchange and then took off to Pacific Beach for some lounging and sunshine afterwards. As you can see from the pictures below we had fun posing in front of the crazy colorful mural we found and sneaked drinks on the beach. Needless to say it was a magical day with spent with my brother and I'm grateful we were able to catch up and hang out together. I'm sad how quickly time flies by, especially when you're spending it with family and the people you love. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see my folks at my uncle's wedding in Santa Cruz this July. Until then it's back to reality living my life in the bay area...

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Loves!

Lately I'm been on the job hunt so naturally I was leaning towards constructed pieces that are polished and chic. This is somehting I wore to my interview with SF fashion start up company Twice
twice.com What do you think of this look? Would you wear something like this to an interview, cuz I just did...

Shades of Summer Blogger Event

Hi Loves!

This post is long overdue but it's better late than never!
Several weeks ago I attended an awesome San Francisco fashion event exclusive to SF fashion bloggers with my partner in crime Megan Doung of Gradations of Style. Together we explored new fashion/tech companies that are making a statement here in the bay area like ThirdLoveLe TotePolyvore and local SF florist company Bloom that. I had a blast sipping mixed drinks and playing dress up in the Bloom That floral crowns we were sporting. I met a bunch of great new folks and feel so lucky that I was able to connect with so many other bloggers and fashionistas alike!

Be sure to check back to my blog soon for some new posts featuring Le Tote and ThirdLove lingerie. Now lets hope this heat wave cools down some so I can actually enjoy the sunshine we're having. I hope you're all having a good week so far
